Events: Ladies Day Out

Thank you to everyone who shopped local businesses to help support our school! 

Together just over $39,000 was spent within the businesses that participated specifically for Ladies Day Out.
We earned $300 for our PTA from this year's event!

A few fun facts about supporting local!

1. For every $100 you spend at locally owned businesses, $68 will stay in the community. What happens when you spend that same $100 at a national chain? Only $43 stays in the community.* Civic Economics Study.

2. Small businesses donate 250% more than larger businesses to non-profits and community causes. (Source: Seattle Good Business Network).

3. Exceptional Customer Service. Local businesses are able to hire people with a more specific expertise. These people are often your neighbors creating a great sense of Community.
