Do you have some spare time to help put Trivia Night together? Trivia Night is our biggest fundraiser for the Fairmount PTA. We will be returning to the Community House in Hinsdale on Saturday, November 15, 2025 for Trivia Night and will need plenty of volunteers to help plan and run the event. While we have some volunteers in place, we would like additional help to co lead or help out with various responsibilities.
Donations
Coordinate / find sponsors and donations. (Starts now!)
Silent Auction / Stuff the Pot
Coordinate room reps responsibilities and class baskets. Build silent auction baskets and stuff the pot items from donations.
Teacher Experiences
Coordinate with teachers / staff to identify experiences.
Kid / Adult / Family Experiences
Recruit families to host experiences and package them for introduction at Trivia Night.
Giving Tree
Ensure teachers / staff submit gift requests, transfer requests to tree, and ensure gifts are purchased after Trivia Night.
Venue
Works with venue to ensure all contract items are met. Submit layout, hire bartenders, ensure audio / visual is in place, etc.
Games
Coordinate the 'Fun' for the night including trivia, table games, prizes, give-aways. Write scripts for MC, answer sheets, etc.
Operations
Overall coordination of Trivia Night including all areas above.
